Right of the box they are super comfortable! I foresee after a proper break in period, they will be lifelong boots. The laces are black and yellow though. So they will be very simple to customize. As mentioned in a different review, I too will be wearing them with my kilts. That is an even greater bonus because the entire boot will be shown off. Highly highly recommend!
My marsh harriers just arrived, and I can’t begin to say how happy I am with these boots. The leather is soft yet supple, tough enough to not scratch easy or stain. The sole is very grippy, I had to take them out to a trail to try them out. It was excellent. Comfortable out of the box but I can tell once I break them in more they will only fit better. The care in the box, including mink oil and a horse hair brush, is excellent as well. Exceptional quality. The process of buying was just as high quality. I talked to James, who responded quickly and very politely. He was an amazing help, and again I am just over the moon with these boots. I will be recommending them to people I know
These boots arrived so quickly & are exactly as pictured. The leather is wonderful & the craftsmanship is great. The added touch of the brushes for boot care as well as the individual boot bags & shopping bag were icing on the cake.
These will be my new go to boots.
